Definition:

• Report to the SPMT Supervisor
• Responsible for your SPMT and for all the works executed with the SPMT
• Driver of the SPMT
• Perform the rigging and all the other operations with the SPMT
• Responsible for the daily and weekly control and maintenance of the SPMT
• Report the faults if necessary and do the repairs where necessary
• Participate in the pre-job meeting and safety meetings if necessary
• Together with the SPMT Supervisor responsible for the heavy transports

Professional experience:

• At least 1 year of experience in heavy transport projects with SPMT (Kamag)
• Specific professional experience in the domain of Petrochemical, refinery and mining installations.

Education:

• At least a secondary degree with a technical main subject
• Certificate “Basic Safety Training SCC * or a similar training.

Skills:

• Drive and repair the SPMT
• Capable to work under stress
• Respect the safety rules concerning the use of engines
• React quickly when something happens
• Have a good 3D view
• Not suffer from a fear of heights
• Able to work individually and in a group
