The Main Crane Driver will be in command of a 5,000 mT Huisman-Itrec crane. Not only are you the expert in  heavy lifting but foremost in putting things carefully down the right and at the first change.

The Deck Crane Driver tasks are:

• Effectively communicate with other personnel to ensure efficient and effective crane operations;
• Reviews and acts according crane set-up instructions, lifting plans, load charts, SWL, capacity charts, lifting and rigging equipment spec’s, motion/stability/strength/lifting analysis, etc;
• Regular crane inspections, overview and reporting on maintenance and repair;
• Work in compliance with operating procedures, safety policies and legislation.

The preferred candidate has a high school education and is experienced in mechanics, electrics, hydraulics and control systems. You are certified as Crane Operator Stage 1, 2 and 3 (Sparrows or equivalent). Ideally you are experienced in heavy lifting equipment of weights up to 5,000 mT or more. Experience in operating Huisman cranes is recommended.
