The deck Crane Driver will be in command of one of the two 40 mT Dragon knuckle boom cranes. He/she will work in close cooperation with the other Crane Drivers. Not only are you experienced heavy offshore crane operations but foremost in assisting a main during heavy lifting operations.

The Deck Crane Driver tasks are:

• Effectively communicate with other personnel to ensure efficient and effective crane operations;
• Reviews and acts according crane set-up instructions, lifting plans, load charts, SWL, capacity charts, lifting and rigging equipment spec’s, motion/stability/strength/lifting analysis, etc;
• Regular crane inspections, overview and reporting on maintenance and repair;
• Work in compliance with operating procedures, safety policies and legislation.

The preferred candidate has a high school education and is experienced in mechanics, electrics, hydraulics and control systems. You are certified as Crane Operator Stage 1, 2 and 3 (Sparrows or equivalent). Ideally you are experienced in offshore heavy lifting operations. Experience in operating Dragon cranes is recommended.
