BOW Terminal B.V.

In the port of Vlissingen BOW Terminal is fully operational since 2010. BOW Terminal is a subsidiary of the Kloosterboer group. The group has terminals in the Netherlands such as Rotterdam, Elst, IJmuiden and Vlissingen. Furthermore they have terminals in France, the United States and Canada. Kloosterboer was founded in 1925. The experienced and dedicated staff in combination with modern equipment (cranes , forklifts etc.) & well designed IT-systems ensures an optimal logistical expertise resulting in smooth and reliable handling of valuable materials. Loading & unloading vessels, stripping & stuffing of containers, trucks and wagons is organized by the (in-house) Stevedoring Department. In 2012, BOW Terminal has invested in the largest fixed heavy lift crane of Europe (Gottwald MK 1500 crane), with 1200 tonnes lifting capacity. The availability of permanent heavy lifting capacity makes this terminal a perfect location for heavy lift cargoes and breakbulk projects.
