 On September 22nd, 12hoist4u organized a seminar on the liabilities related to vertical transport.
Rabobank Kromme Rijnstreek facilitated an interactive afternoon which was attended by nearly 50 delegates of various industry organizations and interested parties from the vertical transport industry that was rated very good.
Mark Goorts (lawyer at Taylor Wessing) and Hans Brankaert (risk expert at Interpolis) took all participants on a journey into the world of liabilities, damages and insurance in the vertical transport. Rental of machines, contracted jobs, different types of contracting, temporary staff hiring...
By means of recognizable examples from the practice and questions asked by the participants this complex matter was set out clear. Without any doubt the most important learning of this afternoon was: “make sure that the agreements are made crisp and clear, including the associated responsibilities”.
